01/02/2004 MARIBOR-GKURD
Due to Ringo and Patrick needed to pick up the Hungarians at the Hungarian Border, the two bands went together in one bus for the first time. That was really funny. We reached the club in Maribor/Slowenia, a really big area, early so that we could take time to soundcheck and to eat. The 4 Sivits played there one year ago and so they knew a lot of people there. They also met the Soundman where they recorded some songs in summer. No problem was that the Tangled Lines werenÕt set up for that show. Might be a mistake. Anyway the supporting bands "Insane" and "Curse of Instict" were cool but totally different (like surf punk and metalcore). After them the Lines played a short set and they still had those monumental poses from this Metalcore band in mind. So they tried to copy this poses which was really funny. The happening was again the singing from Zippel and Luise on the coversong Minor Threat. Some guys already knew the 4 Sivits and so their show was really great. The Barkeeper played air-guitar on the stage and everybody was going crazy. The others shot a lot of Photos. It felt like this great time was going to end.
