We arrived in Helsinki at 7 am and our girls Susi and Bea gave us a big “welcome in Finland”. Both came with a ferry and the bandbus straight and direct from Rostock. For the next 3 days our home should be a squat, an old tower for firefighters on a hill. Yes, there was eletricity and warm rooms, but no water. And the toilet? Outside man! Our host was a very friendly young man and the only one who did live there. After a short chilling, some with music, some try to sleep, we drove to the first gig to ORANSSI CLUB. There we met a lot of acquaintances, JANNI from MANIFESTO JUKEBOX and guys from ECHO IS YOUR LOVE. They also should play with us tonight, together with another band called SPOILED BETTY ( a young all-girls group, ready for their first gig I think). Well, they played at first and it was very funny. In every song the girl on drums stopped the song before the others, haha. But they are on a good way and we need more freaky girls like them for sure! The second band this evening was ECHO IS YOUR LOVE and we all know them from tours and shows in germany. The audience was kinda cool and handclaps rare. But hey, it was a Tuesday night and what to say? …we played third and it was okay for this one. Some heads did shake and some guys did smile. Back in our tower (YEAH!) - oh where´s the beer? and fuck! I´m tired, I go to sleep! Good night, good fight…
