Some of us were awake at 7 am, the rest shortly befor we start the drive at 8 am. Today was the day we should cross the Finish gulf to Estonia. We’d made it by plan to reach the harbour in “hell”sinki. The car crossing was boring,the spirits cheap and the music in the event-hall was very bad! The boat in sloping position with useless gambling machines,but with a lot of Finnish- spirit-tourist’s. We were very happy as we arrived tallin and we could leave the ship. Oli from good old Halle and Dr.Aimar Ventzel, the native graded skinhead, they already were waiting for us. Both escorted us to Tartu, were we should play this night. At first we did a fill up-stop, because the clever punk used the different tax-statute for cheaper refuel too. The show today in the rock ‘n roll-club wasn`t special, but for all that`s worth mentioning, we’d heard much about the Estonian relation on punk-concerts. OI POLLOI and HERO DISHONEST told us stories about shows in estonia. They had to leave the club through the back door,because there exists a massive and aggressive presence of NAZIS! The promoter of today, DR.AIMAR VENTZEL, promissed us no NAZI-TROUBLE for tonight. And, it wasn`t wrong of him! In the last time the situation was under control and slowly there has formed an active ANTIFASCIST-CONFIGURATION in the punk-scene again, Aimar means. The show began with the punk-band: NO MORE ROCKSTARS, hc-punk from Tallin. The music a bit sounds like Millencolin and diverse other old-school classics . Good stuff we think! After, it followed the hc-metal band PROJECT MASSACRE, but the music was more metal than hardcore. Dooming, hard and some fast parts. Not a real “ cup of tea “ once for an old-school lover. At next had to play THE 4 SIVITS. The audience was inspired, even the friends of metal had moved their heads. With many alcoholic drinks we did spend a very funny time in Aimars flat. We had to go through some queer moments but we can’t write about it. Just by word of mouth we can tell something, if you know what we mean ;-) !?
